i'm just quickly putting up some pics and telling you the great news: yay, we're moving on to minnesota on friday, i'll be visiting brett and the other comrades and before that we'll meet with vicky and heinz and other people, and yay, i got myself a nice big kidney infection with the doctor threatening me with hospitalization and everything if i don't stick to the rules :/
so here i am, chilling out in ks, taking antibiotics, feeling sleepy and not as full of energy as i had hoped to feel for this trip. that's what you get, folks, for being stupid. oh yeah, and dear us citizens, as much as i love you all - and i have met so many cool people here - you definitely need a health care reform. cause it sucks big time to pay 98 bucks just for seeing a doctor for five minutes to get the prescription and the threatening and then go get the meds for 4 - four!!!- dollars. i mean, come on - four dollars? ninetyeight dollars? not fair!
and i mean, okay, my situation is kind of specific, no questioning that, but masha said there are 30 millions of people here that can never see a doctor for that reason - folks, you so need a health care reform!!!
i'm still working on finding a couch for dc, but brett, whom i owe big time because i keep shifting the dates for my visit back and forth and he only replies "well, okay" or "yeah, cool" or "sure thing", which leaves me even more ashamed, seems to have found me places to stay in chicago, boston and ny, so my road trip is all in dry towels as we germans say.

i need to get a license. it was so fun to drive that thing!
